Dr. Debra Horwitz is a prolific writer on the subject of veterinary behavior and has authored numerous books for professionals in the field.  She is co-editor and author of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Behavioral Medicine 1st and 2nd edition, published in October 2009. Her other book, Blackwell's Five-Minute Veterinary Consult Clinical Companion: Canine and Feline Behavior co-authored with Dr. Jacqui Neilson was published in 2007. She is the behavior section editor for the 5 Minute Veterinary Consult 3rd, 4th and 5th editions. She is also co-author of the Lifelearn Behavior Client Handouts available on CD and online as well as co-author of Veterinary Clinics of North America Small Animal Practice Volume 38: Practical Applications and New Perspectives in Veterinary Behavior.
